Robert “Bob” George Dolhun, age 83 of Montello (formerly of Cudahy) passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Wisconsin Dells Health Services. Bob was born in Waukesha on July 4, 1940 to John and Joanna (Olson) Dolhun. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Milwaukee in 1958 and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the Unites States Army. Bob worked at Harley Davidson for many years and retired to Montello in 2005. He was an avid fisherman, Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer Fan. He will be remembered for his hard work to provide for his family, his love of dogs and making people around him laugh.
Bob is survived by three sons: Todd (Theresa) of Richfield, Troy of Oak Creek and Rodney (Sarah) of Minnesota and daughter, Shelley (Paul) Pogodzinski of Franklin as well as 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and several other extended family members.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Nancy and Joan.
Honoring Bob’s wishes, he will be laid to rest with full military honors on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King.
