Montello

Anthony James Weber, age 33 of Montello passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay.  Anthony was born in Vernon Hills, Illinois on September 4, 1988 to Allen and Shelly (Blair) Weber.  He graduated from Northwest Baptist Academy and furthered his education at Missouri Welding Institute.  Anthony married Sarah Gomez in Madison on July 12, 2008.

Anthony’s main focus and joy in life was his family. He enjoyed sharing the outdoors with them, was very involved in their sporting endeavors, and loved serving God in his local church everywhere he went. He also enjoyed music, and his family often knew he was arriving home, when they heard him singing at the top of his lungs as he drove down the road.  Anthony will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his volunteer work in the community, his loud happy character, and his commitment to sharing knowledge of the trades with young people.

Anthony leaves behind his wife, Sarah and four children: Giuliana, Arianna, Alesandra, and Bennett.  He is also survived by his parents: Allen and Shelly Weber of Elgin, IL, in-laws: Raul and Elena Gomez of Maricopa, AZ and brother, Luis Weber of Hastings, MI.  Anthony is further survived by his maternal grandparents: Michael and Carol Blair, maternal great-grandmother June Blair, paternal grandmother, Rosemary Weber and many other extended family members.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Elvin Weber.

A funeral service for Anthony Weber will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at The Marquette Community Church in Montello.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church.  Pastor Mike Vargo will preside.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family for a memorial that will be established in Anthony’s name.
