Anna M. Cotter, age 80 of Montello passed away Monday evening, November 29, 2010 at San Luis Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Green Bay. Anna was born in Kingston, WI to Thomas and Agnes (Burk) Leahy on March 25, 1930 and married Daniel Cotter on June 4, 1955 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kingston. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2004. Anna was the ultimate caregiver; she cared for countless people in her profession as a nurse and also for her family members in their times of need. She was a very devoted and active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; where she served for many years as a member of St. Ann's Alter Society. Anna also enjoyed flower gardening, playing cards but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Anna is survived by her son, Thomas (Alissa) of Green Bay and two grandchildren, Adam and Ella. She is also survived by her siblings: Mary (Maurice) Kearns of Pardeeville, John Leahy of Kingston, James (Joan) Leahy of Kingston, Maurice (Carol) Burk of Kingston and Mary Campion of Montello. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. Anna is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two infant brothers: Thomas and Joseph Leahy as well as brother-in-law Kelly Campion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 3, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Father Michael Richel will officiate and burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Montello. Crawford Funeral Home of Montello is assisting the family with arrangements.
