Allison Andres

June 5, 2007 — November 15, 2024

Oxford

Allison “Allie” Elizabeth Andres, age 17 of Oxford, WI passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by her family after battling cancer. Allie was born in Portage, WI on June 5, 2007 to Daniel and Melissa (Bennett) Andres.

Allie had many talents. She enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, drawing, nail art, and music. She also loved sleepovers, shopping, dogs, driving, and nature. But more than anything, Allie loved Jesus. She enjoyed studying her bible and bible journaling as well.

Her last wish was to help doctors find a cure for this rare and aggressive cancer (Spinal Diffuse Midline Glioma), by donating her tumor tissue for research. It was really important to her to try to help as many children as possible.

Allie is survived by her parents: Daniel and Melissa Andres, brother, Benjamin (Kaitlyn) Andres and sister, Lillian Andres all of Oxford. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents: John and Judy Andres, maternal grandparents: Daryl and Vicki Bennett as well as her uncle, Jason Bennett and cousin, Jennessa Powers.

Allie is preceded in death by her aunt, Jennifer Andres.

A funeral service for Allie will be held on Saturday, November 23, at 10:00 AM at Grace Bible Church, 2939 County Road CX, Portage. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Pastor Zach Stoll and Pastor Kevin Cernek will co-officiate the service, with a luncheon will follow. A private burial for the immediate family will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Town of Jackson, Adams County. Due to allergies, the family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to PK’s Prayers and Gift from a Child.

PK's PRAYERS is devoted to supporting children battling rare pediatric diseases from the start of diagnosis, during treatment, and survivorship.  The foundation was founded by the Karrenbrock Family and inspired by faith and Penelope Kate.  The Andres & Karrenbrocks are forever blessed to cross paths and their friendship will last our lifetimes and beyond.  Checks can be sent to:  PK's Prayers, 1661 Meinershegen Road, Foristell, MO 63348
