Alice Dunn

Alice Irene Dunn, age 75 of Briggsville, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, December 8, 2013. She was born in Lusk, WY to John and Audrey (Howard) Campbell on August 17, 1938. She married Tommie Dunn in Detroit, Michigan and they settled in Florida in the early 1970's. While in Florida, Alice worked for Bayonet Point Hospital for 25 years as a Medical Lab Technician. Tommie preceded her in death in June of 2004 and she moved to the Briggsville area with family in 2010. Alice enjoyed crocheting blankets, gardening, card games and putting together puzzles to be displayed. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and reading them stories. Survivors include her three children: Timothy (Gwen) of Summerville, SC, Theresa Lynne Rivera of Hudson, FL and Anthony (Jannel) of Briggsville, as well as 12 grandchildren: Erin, Caitlin, Megan, Ashlyn, Emmanuel (Gina), Carlyn, Jeremy, Andrew, Lauryn, Sebastian, Aubrey and Logan. Alice is also survived by a great-granddaughter, Dolores. Alice is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters: Beulah and Susan. Following Alice's wishes, she will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a family cemetery in Tennessee.
