Albin Henry Streich, age 89 of Harrisville passed away on Monday, November 22, 2010 at his home. He was born in Shields Township, Marquette County on April 6, 1921 to Jules and Emma (Eichstadt) Streich. Albin was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Budsin and married Vernice Rosanske in Harrisville on October 12, 1946. Albin worked for many years as a milk truck driver for Westfield Dairy and also as a factory worker making hydraulic cylinders in Westfield. He and Vernice traveled whenever possible and also enjoyed gardening, working with his hands and tending to his birds. Ablin was a devoted family man who will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include: wife, Vernice of Harrisville, one son, Ken (fianci�½e Lynette Eichelberg) of Montello, one brother, Ervin (Lucille) of Budsin, one grandson, Chad (Brianne) Webster of Beaver Dam and two great-grandsons, Jack and Seth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. Albin is preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Harrisville. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Rev. Blaine Niskanen will officiate and burial will follow the service at the Harrisville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family. Crawford Funeral Home of Montello is serving the family.
