Albert Wronski

Albert "Al" Wronski, age 72 of Montello passed away peacefully Friday morning, April 17, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Al was born in Milwaukee on October 4, 1942 to Steven and Helen (Slapcznski) Wronski. He attended South Division High School in Milwaukee and went on to proudly serve his country as a member of the United Stated Marines. Al married Janice Fuhrman on September 4, 1965 and together they worked and lived in Milwaukee until retiring to Montello in 2005. Al was currently serving as Supervisor for the town of Packwaukee and was also an active member of American Legion Post 351 of Montello. He enjoyed his annual fishing trips to Canada and hunting off his back porch. Al always kept busy outside and immensely loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Al is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Janice, daughter, Sandy Wronski of Montello and son, Alex (Sarah) of Milwaukee as well as three grandchildren: Jeremy (fiancAC.e, Amanda), Samantha and Lucas. He is also survived by his great-grandson, Ryker Albert as well as two brothers, three sisters and his canine companion, Calvin. A Mass of Christian Burial for Albert will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. Visitation will be held from at the church 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Father Tim Renz will preside and immediately following mass, full military honors will be performed by American Legion Post 351 of Montello. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred for a memorial that is being established in Al's name.
