Adeline Emma Cotter, age 99 of Montello passed away peacefully Friday morning, October 30, 2015 at the Montello Care Center. Adeline was born in the town of Buffalo, Marquette County to Emil and Bertha (Zarbrook) Klawitter on April 6, 1916. She raised her family and was employed at Montello Products until retirement. She married Stewart Cotter in July of 1959 and he preceded her in death on November 20, 2006. Adeline was a devout member of the Catholic Faith and active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her friends. Adeline was honored by the title of grandma. Adeline is survived by her son, William (fiancAC. Betty Keipe) Kieck of Princeton and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as many great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Stewart's extended family. Adeline is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stewart, one daughter, Joyce Phillips, granddaughters: Diane and Tammy as well as the father of her children, Alfred Kieck. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Father Tim Renz will preside and burial will follow the service at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, town of Montello. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 277 E. Montello Street, Montello, WI 53949.
