Adele Linn

Adele (Howe) Linn, age 92 of Montello passed away peacefully Thursday morning, December 1, 2011 at Whistling Pines Assisted Living in Waupaca. Adele was born in Chicago on October 23, 1919. She married Walter Linn in Chicago, he preceded her in death in 1970. Adele was a very humorous person, she liked to laugh and play jokes on others. She was also very proud of her appearance and enjoyed being around other people. Adele lived throughout the country until moving to Montello to be closer to family; in 2006 she moved into Joanie's Home in Montello until recently moving to Waupaca. She was also a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church while in Montello. Adele is survived one son, Gregory and is preceded in death by her parents and husband as well as one son, James. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour service at the church. Father Michael Richel will officiate and inurnment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Montello. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Theda Care at Home, 2600 S. Heritage Woods Drive, Appleton, WI 54915.
