Barbara Peteranetz

Barbara L. Peteranetz, age 78 of Montello passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah. Barb was born in Milwaukee to Elmer and Josephine (Zyznieski) Kappel on March 21, 1938. She graduated from West Milwaukee High School and later moved to Colorado and returned to Wisconsin to care for her parents. Barbara was involved with the Princeton Public Library, current president of the Princeton Garden Club which she was a member of since 1991. She supported and volunteered at the Green Lake Area Animal Shelter as well as a passionate member of WOAA.

Barb is survived by extended family members and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service for Barbara Peteranetz will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Her nephew, Kurt Neumann will lead the service of remembrance and private family inurnment will take place a later date. All are invited to attend a luncheon following the service at Trinity United Methodist Church (behind the funeral home). In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Princeton Public Library, 424 W. Water Street, Princeton, WI 54968.
